Since Ive seen the mix RS did in the Sonic radio station, Im sure Id like to dj like he does. Im saving for the ”right” stuff, a Behringer DDM4000 4ch mixer and 2 Numark NDX400 cd/usb players. I got another midi-mixer too, which goes to the 3rd channel on the mixer and the mixer has a samplebank too, that goes to the 4rd channel…
Well, could you give me tips on how I should start? I downloaded the songs RS used in the show and tried mixing like he did, and I got some pretty cool sounds too, but… how does he find the tracks? It likes to me that he always uses the right samples etc. How do I find the right sampletracks?
How do I have to start? If needed I’ll be learning for years to could at least a bit of this sort of ‘’sample-djing”. Of course there’s something like ”you got the feeling, or you dont”, and I think I got it… (:
